Polymethymethacrylate (PMMA)

Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is a polymer produced on the base of polymethyl-methacrylate. It demonstrates good temperature resistance and UV-stability.

FEATURES

Light (twice as lighter as common glass);
Very high mechanical strength and hardness;
Very high impact resistance (five times higher than common glass);
Temperature resistance (up to +80°С);
Thermal conductivity is much lower than common glass;
Easy-to-process;
Resistance to ageing;
Transparent PMMA features a good permeability of light;
Disadvantage: low chemical resistance.

APPLICATION

It is used in production of:
Elements of illuminating advertisement;
Screens for workplaces;
Glasshouses and windows;
Shower cabins.

PRODUCT RANGE

Transparent, color and mat sheets:
thickness 1-10mm; size 2000x3000mm, 1500x2000mm.
